How to use:
- Click the download button above (.exe recommended)
- Save
TurtleLogRotator.exeto your Desktop - Before each raid, double-click the file on your Desktop
- First time: Select your WoWCombatLog.txt file
- After that: It works automatically! (WoW can stay open!)
Browser Not Supported
Your browser doesn't support automatic log rotation. Please use Chrome or Edge, or download the utility script below.
Manual Log Rotation
If none of the automatic tools work:
- Close WoW completely
- Go to your
TurtleWoW/Logsfolder - Delete or rename your old WoWCombatLog.txt
- Start WoW and type
/combatlogto start a fresh log - After raid: Type
/combatlogagain to stop - Your log file will be ~10-20MB instead of 1GB

Windows

Mac (with Wine/Crossover)
~/Library/Application Support/CrossOver/Bottles/.../TurtleWoW/Logs/WoWCombatLog.txtEnable Combat Logging
Type /combatlog in-game to start recording. Type it again to stop.
