Finding Your Log File

Windows

C:\Games\TurtleWoW\Logs\WoWCombatLog.txt

Or wherever you installed TurtleWoW

Mac (with Wine/Crossover)

~/Library/Application Support/CrossOver/Bottles/.../TurtleWoW/Logs/WoWCombatLog.txt

Enable Combat Logging

Type /combatlog in-game to start recording. Type it again to stop.

Keeping Your Log File Small

Log files can grow to 1GB+ over time!

If you don't manage your log file, it will keep growing every raid session until it becomes too large to process.

Before each raid:

  1. Go to your TurtleWoW/Logs folder
  2. Delete or rename your old WoWCombatLog.txt
  3. In-game: Type /combatlog to start a fresh log
  4. After raid: Type /combatlog again to stop
  5. Your log file will be ~10-20MB instead of 1GB
